In October 2024, DEEPFLY announced the release of the new DEEPFLY OBD II Power Cable(OPC48) for dash cameras, compatible with all types of vehicles (fuel, hybrid, and EV).

This cable(OPC48) provides users with an easier plug-and-play power supply option for installing dash cameras by directly connecting to the vehicle’s OBD II port, reducing the risk of damaging the vehicle’s wiring. Additionally, the overcurrent protection circuit design helps to better protect the vehicle.(Is compatible with a voltage of up to 48V)

The OBD II cable(OPC48), in terms of functionality, is similar to hardwiring a dashcam to the vehicle’s fuse panel. It provides power to the dashcam even while parked, and monitors the current to shut it off if the voltage drops too low.

However, the advantage of the OBD II power cable(OPC48) is its ease of use. Simply plug it in, and you’re done. This is probably the simplest solution to activate parking mode.
